Notes from the sound guy:

You’ll find one of Skåne's few waterfalls in this nature reserve. It’s much smaller than the Niagara Falls, but on the other hand it has a lot fewer visitors.

Getting there from the car park: climb the fence into the field. Say hello to the curious cows. Walk a little way into the forest. Soon you’ll hear the rapids. The building you see is the Sträntemölla mill. The sound of the waterfall was quite loud here, so I placed the microphones a little way up in the beech forest.

To get back to the car park: walk a short distance through the woods, through the cow field, say goodbye to the curious cows, then climb over the fence.

My favourite sound in the recording: I have to give a gold star to the blackbird that tries, with limited success, to out-sing the waterfall.
